In 2009 Breck Central EMS commissioned the Special Operations
Response Team known as S.O.R.T. It is the mission of this team to
bring good medicine to bad places. Members of this team receive
special training so they can provide pre-hospital emergency medicine
where it is needed the most; the point of wounding.
Our S.O.R.T. division currently provides rapid response and stand
by details at large scale events such as fairs, parades, and festivals.
Furthermore, our S.O.R.T. divison trains and can mobilize in mass
casualty incidents along with technical situations unique to our area.
Our team is currently complimented with a Utility Terrain Vehicle
that is equipped to handle most any medical emergencies. As part of
our mission and vision to the team we are always working to expand
and provide additional levels of tactical medical response.
