BRECK CENTRAL EMS SUBSCRIPTION DRIVE
Breck Central EMS developed an Annual Subscription Drive program to allow the
residents of Breckinridge County to support their community and protect them from
a potentially expensive ambulance bill. It works by paying a small fee to Breck
Central EMS once a year to become a subscriber. Becoming a subscriber has
several benefits. The most important of which is protection from incurring
expenses, including deductibles and co-payments, for medically necessary
ambulance service which potentially could be hundreds of dollars. Your
subscription to Breck Central EMS show that you support our service, which is a
not for profit charitable service that receives no tax subsidies from the county or
municipalities. Without the support of our residents we will not be able to continue
providing this valuable service on the level at which it currently operates.
The most common question is: We have insurance - Why Subscribe? Most
insurance companies do not fully cover the cost incurred in an emergency
ambulance trip. The fact is, you are probably only partially insured for the actual
cost incurred. Your benefits as a subscriber are:
ALL MEDICALLY NECESSARY EMERGENCY RUNS:
INSURED PATIENTS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CO-PAYS
OR DEDUCTIBLES TOWARDS BILL.
UNINSURED PATIENTS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF THE
BILL.
ALL MEDICALLY NECESSARY NON-EMERGENCY TRANSPORTS:
INSURED PATIENTS WILL ONLY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 50% OF ANY
CO-PAYS OR DEDUCTIBLES TOWARDS BILL.
UNINSURED PATIENTS WILL ONLY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 50% OF THE
TOTAL COST.

Household Family Plan - $50.00
